our kabrastan

The KSIKJ kabrastan is located in Mwanakwerekwe. We recognise the needs of our community for easy access and such, the newly renovated kabrastan is now wheelchair friendly. Pathwalks, benches and additional washroom facilities have been added as well as spotlights for night burial.

We have over 300 marhumeen graves, of which 50-60 have yet to be identified. If you or anyone has a family member that was buried here and can provide aide in identifying the grave/location fo deceased relatives or friends, please contact the jamaat office. What to do when there is a death in family

The Ksikj kabrastan service committee provides all inclusive funeral services to the members of our community with the highest quality and respect. Please contact the office at the earliest so we can assist you to make this process easy for your family.

The jamaat provides free burial services (transportation, & clothing – (kafan/dafan) to all its members. We highly recommend making a donation on behalf of your marhumeen, as this helps the jamaat to continue providing free services and also towards the maintenance of Kabrastan,
